Matakana Estate is a luxury historic estate that has been over one hundred years in the making. It boasts a number of interesting and unique features on top of the exquisite private lodge which has been tastefully renovated to suit the discerning traveller. Matakana Estate produces its own wine from their vineyards which were established in 1996, has a tasting room on site, and wedding event facilities well underway.

For use of the entire lodge per night, rates start at $1680 for up to eight people, and includes a wine tasting experience, use of facilities and breakfast provided for the first morning. There are many additional features you can also add to your stay, such as a private chef for a personalised dining experience! Plus trips to local exciting sight seeing activities in the Matakana area.

I was recently gifted with this beautiful one piece from their recent collection and I couldn’t be more impressed! I chose this vintage paisley style, as it has some of my favourite colours at the moment, navy, cobalt blues, deep pinks and soft pink hues really pop in the vibrant paisley design. You can grab yourself the same pattern in a number of different design options, including a slim strap design, a two piece, and a rouched one piece for women with curves too!

I love this design for a number of reasons, but as a girl with assets this swimsuit really takes the cake for me! I often struggle at the beach to find pieces that are both cute and supportive while I am swimming, but Capriosca’s designs are really suited to women who want the added security. The colours work with a lot of accessories already in my closet and suit winter and summer skin tones really well. The material is very soft and stretchy, and I feel very confident wearing it. The design of the top section gives me complete freedom while in the water, and also has added sun protection with the frill sleeves on my shoulders so for all the pale girls out there, I’ve got you!
